Late Night Beautification for New Yorkers


Nowadays seems like our days last about a minute. If you are a New Yorker, make that half a minute! So how can you find time to get pretty in times like this? Well, worry no more! I have a HOT tip for you. My most fabulous friends David and Reynald, have a LATE-LATE night salon in the Meat Packing District. Some nights they are open way pass midnight! The salon is tres-tres cool, as you arrive they offer you a glass of wine while you wait, they have a couple of flat screens where they play beautiful film noir and european movies, the place is a beautiful loft lounge, perfect for after work - or after Happy Hour, hang out.

DAVID COTTEBLANCHE

Stylist

David Cotteblanche started his career in 1990 at Jacques Dessange in Paris. After five years there, he was selected to helm the Jacques Dessange Salon in Bal Harbour, Florida. From 2000 until he and Reynald Ricard opened RED MARKET, Cotteblanche worked as a stylist and trainer at Frederic Fekkai. His work has appeared on the runways of numerous fashion shows, including: Yohji Yamamoto, Christian Dior, Diane Von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren and Nicole Miller. He has also helped rock-out the tresses of Duran Duran and Hot Chip and styled photo shoots for Elle, Town and Country, Gotham Magazine and Playboy.

REYNALD RICARD

Colorist

Reynald Ricard began his career in Paris at the age of 18 where he worked at famed salons Maniatis, Frank Provost and Jacques Dessange. After seven years, and opening salons for Dessange in Paris, Casa Blanca, Morocco, Palm Beach and Miami, Ricard left for New York City and a position at Frederic Fekkai. Along the way, he glam-ed up the locks of celebs like Carla Bruni, Anne Heche, Sting, and Claudia Schiffer.
